Dear {{first_name| Member}},

I’d like to bring you on this journey with me where every month I’ll share a recap of the work done in the studio, to celebrate art and just have something positive to look at 😌

September is coming to an end and I am looking back to the studio highlights of this month: what I’ve been working on , what I’ve completed and what I have started:

This month I’ve added the finishing touches to some of the works that are part of the british wildlife series for the 2026 calendar, which will be launched officially next week… I will share some of the stories about each work next week with the official calendar release , but for now here’s the pictures of paintings of the series completed this month:

“Wool heart” oil painting

“Nutcracker” oil painting

“Staggering” oil painting

“A balancing act” colour pencil drawing

“Stick together” colour pencil drawing

“The omen” colour pencil drawing

I also made Limited edition prints of the puffin painting in the same series, completed in August 🖼️

“Plenty of fish in the sea” Limited edition print

I’ve received so much support and love for the painting “Where petals bear silence” that I have decided to create a whole series combining some of my best photos of big cats with different flowers… and I’m sharing the next piece on the series first here in my newsletter with you 🥰

I still have to think about a title, but I really hope you like it so far!

In this series, I want to explore the paradox of the way beauty can hold power, and power can hold tenderness. I love the idea that something (or someone) doesn't have to choose between being strong or delicate. It can be both. It can roar and whisper, endure and bloom.

By placing big cats and flowers together on canvas, I hope to capture that equilibrium. For me, it's also a reminder that vulnerability is not the absence of strength, but often the truest form of it.

Although my work focuses primarily on painting animals, I’ve also been a longtime admirer of Taylor. Her songwriting has always stood out to me…far beyond what one might expect from mainstream pop. There’s a depth and honesty in her lyrics that I find rare, as she gives voice to emotions and experiences that are both deeply personal and universally shared. Many of her songs resonate with me on a profound level, as they capture the kinds of feelings and moments we all encounter at different points in our lives.

I am currently working on this big commission for another fan(you know who you are! 🫶) who also became a friend to share all things music and Taylor with 😊

and I also made prints of the painiting I did on my denim jacket in August 😎

“The fate of Ophelia” Limited edition print

And that’s a wrap for September! Thanks for letting me share a glimpse into my studio with you ☺️ I’m grateful you’re here, following along with my journey one month at a time…

Wishing you a good month ahead 🍁

Love,

Francesca
